About

Sirin Boubaker

Sirin Boubaker (born in 1993 in Tunisia) is a painter and visual artist. Her practice combines painting, collage, photomontage and cyanotype on fabric, and questions memory, human fragility and what time leaves behind in our inner landscapes. Her canvases are peopled with hybrid figures, skulls and the recurring motif of the black swan, messenger of the unforeseeable. She holds a master's degree in theory of creation (Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Nabeul, 2017) and has exhibited at the Institut français de Tunisie, TGM Gallery, the National Library of Tunisia and Galerie Khal in Paris, among others. She lives and works between Tunisia and France.
